International Women's Department

 

 

The Christ Churches International Fellowship, an International fellowship that has

Always had an International Women's Department. The church's Vision of world evangelism have established a mission program within the Women's Department to help reach the un reached for Christ worldwide. 

Bishop J. L. Payne, founder / presiding bishop teaches and believes that women are a positive force in the world out reach ministries. He founded the Women's Department that this expression of positive ministry be employed and made effected in the body of the Church. Women of all nationalities, ethical  and  Christian backgrounds have come together the world over to be used to bring about this miracle of ministry among Women of God. 

The Office of the Women's Supervisor

This office consists of the Women's Supervisor,  the Assistants to the Supervisor and the staff of first ladies in Jurisdictions throughout the International Church.  The biblical structure of church's foundation is applied to this department and the "fire of the Holy Spirit is an ever burning light among the women." We are here to serve and be used of God as women of God.

The Office of the Presiding Bishop

The Presiding Bishop's Office gives the directives for the International Women's Department annually and  set the dates and locations of the Annual women's Convention. This Convention involves the mass of the women's Ministry in the Church's body. It is under the directions of the Presiding Bishop's and the Women Supervisor's of the Department

Duties of the Women's Supervisor

The Women's Supervisor of the Women's Department must be appointed by the Presiding Bishop. She answers to the Presiding Bishop in actions taken by her in the Department. Annually, her duties are to keep an active record of all the women's leadership throughout the church's fellowship. There is a record of all Jurisdictional Women's Supervisors, all first ladies, all women in leaderships as recording secretaries, etc.  Her annual report is made during the International Women's Convention both Spiritually and Financially. In terms of the vision, a report is made. 

The month by month duties of the Women Supervisor is her ever readiness to serve women's ministry throughout the fellowship by personal visits to churches speaking and explaining the vision of the church for the lost of our world. Give the vision and understanding of the educational ministry of the the church.

Ministering to the needs of women throughout the fellowship and assisting churches and pastors with programs to reach women for Christ. Providing the program of the department and its vision in a positive publication at least annually with the presiding Bishop's office.

Duties of the Assistants Women's Supervisors

This office is an extension of the women supervisor's office. Their duties are to fulfill all the responsibilities of the Supervisor and the office of the Supervisor of the Women's Department. Reports of progress, development and results are to be made to the Presiding Bishop's office and the Women's Supervisor's office.
