Bishop J. L. Payne and the Mt. Zion Church has years of history for Bishop Payne was there at the founding of the church under the late Elder and Pastor Dennis Welch. Pastor Lyons Welch (brother of Pastor Dennis Welch) have been in acquaintance for well over 40 years. For 7 years Bishop Payne lived in Hawaii. The late Pastor Dennis Welch served as first pastor of the church and for years He and Pastor join in 40 days revival throughout the Islands.
We look forward to a great Move of God. We yet morns the death of his brother, Pastor Dennis Welch but look forward to our great reunion with him in the second resurrection. |
Bishop Payne will recognize the many years of fellowship with the church and many now in membership. He will acknowledge Pastor Lyons and acknowledge his ministry as an Evangelist and Apostle of the church. The vision of CCOGIC, USA has planted ministries around the world, thus establishing the New Testament Church and the Apostle's Order of ministry worldwide. We believed that God is bringing together many New Testament's Churches and their Leaderships in the bond of relationships, structure and meaningful building of " Christ Kingdom in the earth."
